Known as America's Walking City, Boston offers a range of transport methods that can get you to all corners of this buzzing metropolis. Bus, tram and boat services are available from the Massachusetts Bay Transport Authority (better known as “The T”). There is also an easy-to-navigate subway service, with coded stop colours. What’s the weather in Boston?

The weather in Boston changes so frequently that the locals live by the motto: “Don't like the weather? Wait 5 minutes.” Although it does heat up to 26,7°C (80,6°F) in July, it’s still best to keep a light sweater and an umbrella handy. Thunderstorms are commonplace and equally unpredictable. Expect snowfall between December and March, but don’t expect it to last long, as winter temperatures tend to stay above freezing. Autumn is a beautiful time to visit the city, as it’s transformed with breath-taking colours.
